A Song Wall What is the meaning behind "You talkin' money, need a hearin' aid You talkin' 'bout me, I don't see the shade Switch up my style, I take any lane I switch up my cup, I kill any pain"? Starboy by The Weeknd (Ft. Daft Punk) - A Song Wall

Abel made over $55 million in 2016 after the release of his highly successful 2015 album, Beauty Behind The Madness , so he doesn’t care about anyone else’s wealth or what they say about him; he’s made it on his own. “Starboy” is a huge musical change from Beauty Behind the Madness , and that album was a large change from both Trilogy and Kiss Land. Even when Abel changes styles, he stays on top. Should people talk bad about him because of this new style change, throwing shade , they won’t make it close enough for him to hear it so he remains oblivious to all criticism. Finally, Abel’s never been one to hide his love of drugs that he’ll indulge in to numb his pain. This song isn’t the first time he’s poured up. He’s said before, “Bring the cups, baby, I could bring the drank.”
