However, the official credits for this track list the songwriters as Ariana Grande, Richard Rodgers , TBHits , Njomza , Michael “Mikey” Foster , Kaydence , Tayla Parx , Scootie , Oscar Hammerstein II & Victoria Monét . Note that Oscar Hammerstein II and Richard Rodgers are the songwriters for “My Favorite Things,” which this song interpolates, but the rest of the writers are credited directly for “7 rings.” All listed artists could be credited as writers for composing the instrumental, rather than writing the lyrics, but it’s likely that at least some of them were lyric writers.
