“Touch road” is Jamaican slang commonly used in Toronto to mean going out. Drake’s girl seems to be doing this more often than he remembers—he remembers her as a stay-at-home girl who he could get in the zone with whenever they got the chance. The girl he once knew is gone, and even though he knows it is this new place that has changed her, he has a difficult time accepting that and pleads she should be herself.
