“Ting” is a reference to his pistol. Big Shaq plays on how rappers commonly verbalize how their gun may sound when shooting at someone. However, in this case Big Shaq’s gun sounds like “quack, quack, quack,” just like the sound a duck makes. “You man were ducking” is another way of saying the person he was shooting at was running from the gun fire. However, Big Shaq was not even shooting bullets, he was just shooting duck sounds. Meaning “you man[s]” was “ducking” nothing and is most likely a coward. Of note, there is also wordplay with the duck sound “quack-quack-quack,” and “ducking” having the word duck in it.
