“Nawf” typically refers to the north side of Atlanta , specifically Gwinnett County, where Migos are originally from. See also their earlier song, “Nawfside.” “Dat Way” is a reference to Migos' collaboration with Rich The Kid, which was released on October 12, 2016. Rich the Kid also collaborated with Famous Dex on “That Way," which was released on on July 4, 2016, well prior to the Migos/Rich The Kid collaboration “Dat Way.” It’s a slang term similar to “that part,” and used in the same way as “for real,” or to confirm something that was accomplished. This discrepancy seems to be at least part of the beef claimed by Soulja Boy in “Beef (Quavo Diss),” specifically in response to Quavo’s line “Your artists be taking my swag" in “Dat Way,” when Soulja feels that this is what Quavo did to Famous Dex.
