Lil Uzi is known for his ability to effortlessly switch up the his flow. While this verse is slow, he told Vibe : Some guy was just like ‘you rap fast, man. Like a little machine gun’ and from that moment I was Lil Uzi. After his first mixtape, The Real Uzi, Uzi added “Vert” to the end. In an interview with Rolling Stone , Uzi described the meaning of “Vert” as “straight to the top, like a vertical leap.” Uzi spits a similar line during his feature in Lil Baby’s recent track, “Life Goes On” : I can switch my girls up the same way that I change my clothes (okay) Like his ability to change up the flow, Lil Uzi gets with all sorts of different women.
