This is a shoutout to the city that Roddy Ricch hails from as well as a nod to the local Crip gang known as the Parc Village Compton Crips. Roddy plays on their hood call – “Yaah” – using it as a prefix to the “projects”, referring to American housing projects, in which he himself grew up in.
