While this is a reference to his freshman album under the same name, the actual meaning of the adlib comes from a deeper source. In an interview with XXL promoting the new album, Future brought up the fact that the album was named after his favorite animated character, Pluto, from the hit children’s show “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.” Even though it was released in 2006, Future was an avid watcher, particularly during scenes featuring the orange dog.
