‘Nuh badda’ means “don’t bother.” It’s unclear whether Rihanna is saying “don’t bother to text me when you’re in a crisis,” because she doesn’t care, or if she’s admitting loneliness here, wishing for someone who’d be responsive when she needs them most. Either way, Rihanna’s looking for a meaningful relationship, and she’s not finding it with this person.
