Following his shout out to Busta Rhymes, Em lists some of his other major inspirations. ul li Rakim – The rapper who brought rap a quantum leap forward in terms of rhyme schemes and syllables. li Lakim Shabazz – most likely inspired the militant aspect of Eminem’s lyrics, such as songs like “Mosh” . His complicated (for the era) internal rhymes and phrasing were likely an equally big influence. li 2Pac – Probably inspired Em in his boldness and image. Eminem followed suit in his rebellious attitude towards the industry. li NWA – Eazy E , Ice Cube , Dr. Dre , MC Ren and DJ Yella are all members of the pioneering gangsta rap group N.W.A. They are obvious inspirations of his, especially because he later linked up with Dr. Dre .
