strong Bust a rhyme is a play on the name of rapper Busta Rhymes , who started his career in the group Leaders of the New School . Just like Busta, Eminem is a student turned teacher and now teaching the new generation how to rap . He’s taking these rappers to school like buses do, thus “ strong bus the rhyme”. Em has shouted out Busta on wax before, on “Square Dance” and on film in the famous parking lot scene in 8 Mile : I lead the new school, you’re a Busta without the Rhymes I’ll crush the shit out your lines The two artists have also collaborated in the studio, swapping verses on “I’ll Hurt You” , “Calm Down” , “Hail Mary” and in 2006, during Busta Rhymes' performance of his hit song Touch It (Remix) featuring singer Mary J. Blige , the New York City emcee surprised the viewers by bringing out Eminem to drop an unexpected verse. Eminem was also featured on Missy Elliot’s song “Bus A Rhyme” .
