Eastwood starred in Trouble with the Curve , a film that narrates the story of a man who goes on a journey to finish his career as a baseball scout. The movie’s title, along with this lyric, play on the idiom of “throwing a curve[ball],” meaning something unexpected that trick/surprises someone in the same way that the curveball is used as a slower pitch to throw off the hitter’s timing in baseball. Though he uses Eastwood as a famous white person to euphemize selling cocaine, the “curve” he hopes Bey can handle is more sexual.
