Cardi goes both ways — she could steal your girl or steal your man. The rapper has been open about her bisexuality since her Love and Hip Hop days, telling The Breakfast Club in 2016 that her then-boyfriend gave her a free pass to have sex with other women while he was in prison, and she was involved with more than one. In 2018 Cardi talked about those experiences on Twitter when responding to backlash over her Rita Ora collaboration track “Girls" — an ode to women hooking up with women, which some in the LGBTQ community criticized for fetishizing bisexuality. Cardi defended the song as a genuine celebration of that identity. In October 2019, Cardi confirmed on Twitter that she identifies as “a whole bisexual.”
