Drake has had beef with many artists during the course of his career, most notably with Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill . Meek attacked Drake on Twitter for not writing his own music. Drake held back and never really responded to these allegations, but did state this to his friend Hitman Holla : I signed up for greatness, this comes with it. Another recent example is the awfully one-sided beef between XXXTENTACION and Drizzy. X had accused Drake of stealing the flow from his hit single “Look At Me!” and continued to rant for months, but eventually stopped. Once again, Drake did not respond to any of his remarks. Though Drake has “held back” at times he has also responded to certain disses, like Pusha T’s when he stated this at a concert: If you was doing 16s when I was 16, and your shit still flopped, and you switched teams, don’t talk to me my nigga.
