Xanax is a prescription drug that is used to treat anxiety. “Out like a light” is an old expression meaning to be in deep sleep. Drake has mentioned his use of Xanax on flights before, on the 2014 track “Days In The East” : Take a flight here, pop a xan for the boy Drake could be referring to his trip to Dubai in March 2018, which is just under 13 hours of flight time from his home city of Toronto. Drake’s love for Dubai is no secret. The flow of the lines is adopted from Famous Dex ’s hit song “JAPAN” : I just popped a xan, fifty thousand in Japan (fifty thousand in Japan)
