Given Jay’s history of drug dealing and his general gangster aesthetic (he titled his 2007 album American Gangster ), Beyoncé is in a sense a “gangster wife.” In 2003, Jay and Bey’s collab hit “‘03 Bonnie & Clyde” – itself referring to the archetypal Great Depression gangster couple – portrayed them in a similar light. They also released a love/crime mini-movie titled “Run” ahead of their 2014 On The Run tour.
