Abel refers to himself as The King of The Fall, a moniker that originates from his 2014 song and tour of the same name. This song was released at 11pm on September 21st, 2016, 1 hour before the first day of fall in North America. Abel also plays on the phrase “far cry”. In a literal sense “far cry” suggests that anyone coming for Abel’s throne is long ways from succeeding. But Abel is also referencing the video game “Far Cry 4”, where the objective of the game is to overthrow king Pagan Min of Kyrat, a fictional Himalayan country.
