Along with the next two lines, Eminem is referring to his past, hence the “bitter hatred that I HAVE.” Eminem came from a broken home where he was abused, and was bullied multiple times and was even put in a coma. The “bitter hatred” also ties with the line “Life’s handin' you lemons? Make lemonade then!” , as lemons taste bitter(i.e. sour). It also refers to his long history with women, which led to his misogynistic attitude: ul li The Oedipal factor : his mother , who got him hooked on pills and later on sued him . li His on/off relationship and marriage with Kim; who had an affair with another man, their struggle for custody over Hailie which he was forced to give up and her addiction with cocaine . li Mariah Carey, who denied having been in a relationship with Em – a beef which ended as quickly as it began.
