With depression there is a common feeling of pressure in one’s chest and the feeling that the air is heavy and hard to breathe. But, when one’s with a lover, the feeling of elation brings about the opposite feeling in someone. The reference to light might also embody an experience of enlightenment; perhaps someone comes into your life to teach you to view things from a new perspective.
